Ludogorets are champions of Bulgaria for the 14th time in a row! This became official after their 2–0 victory over Cherno More, which brought the "Eagles" to 79 points—16 ahead of second-place Levski, with five rounds still remaining. Olivier Verdon and Kwadwo Duah were the scorers for the home side. This marks the first time Ludogorets has clinched the title as early as April.

The first attempt in the match came from Thierno Barry, but it didn't trouble Sergio Padt. The hosts responded with a header from Piotrowski straight at the goalkeeper, followed by an inaccurate shot from Duarte. In the 12th minute, Viktor Popov made a great pass to Derrick Osei, who got past Aslak Fonn Witry and fired a shot, but it hit the post.

After a brief lull, Barry showed his class, nutmegged Deroy Duarte, and fired a shot that Padt deflected for a corner. After the corner and a short sequence, Osei found himself in a good position again but shot over the goal. Piotrowski did the same in the 38th minute, this time with a header.

Ludogorets took the lead in stoppage time of the first half. Son won a free kick to the left of the penalty area, took it himself, and Olivier Verdon headed it past Plamen Iliev—1:0.

Ludogorets nearly doubled their lead seconds into the second half when Erick Marcus fired a strong shot that deflected but was somehow saved by Iliev. Duah battled for position afterward but couldn’t get a clean shot. Then came a quick attack, with Marcus setting up Caio Vidal for a header, but it missed the target.

The match was effectively decided in the 68th minute. After a midfield error, Aguibou Camara picked up the ball and passed to Kwadwo Duah, who masterfully controlled it with one foot and scored with the other to make it 2–0.

With this, the Eagles notched their 7th consecutive win across all competitions—and, more importantly, their 14th consecutive Bulgarian league title! They now equal the records of Skonto Riga and Lincoln Red Imps (Gibraltar), both of whom also have 14 titles in a row.
