Ludogorets' head coach, Igor Jovicevic, faces significant challenges ahead of the match against Midtjylland, but he stated that he is not worried because he trusts the available potential. "We have some problems, but  we must be focused on the players who will start and play tommorow. I believe in 'us,' not in 'I,' when it comes to players and individualities. The team is the most important," said the coach of the champions. "I have had the same experience before with the first official match in Europe. We’re talking about a high level of ambition from the players themselves to start the year in the best possible way. We know it will be a tough match, we’re talking about an extremely strong opponent, physically very strong. They play vertical football, similar to AZ Alkmaar. They fight for every second ball. We need to be flawless if we want to win. What I see in training, between the players, is that we are ready," said the former Shakhtar Donetsk coach.

"I am focused on the upcoming match. I don’t think about the past. We are focused on the match plan – the pressing strategy, off-the-ball movement, and all the tactical tasks we’ve set. Our idea is to handle their high pressing," added the coach of Ludogorets.

"We didn’t have much time for preparation, but when you don’t have much time for physical preparation, you focus on video analysis, which we showed to the players. We concentrated on the tactical details because I believe it’s the details that will help us in tomorrow’s match. The second part of our period here is starting, and we are focused on that," said Jovicevic.

"Nedyalkov is in good condition – both mentally and physically, he is the captain of the team, feels good, and I believe in him. Rosen Ivanov, Metodiy Stefanov, and Filip Gigov, who were with us at the training camp in Turkiye, will be included in the list. Duah, Fon Witry, and Tekpetey will be missed for some time," concluded Jovicevic.
