The traditional medical conference has proven over time to be a unique event for Bulgaria. This confirmed the extremely high interest in the third edition of the forum, where eminent specialists in the field of sports medicine meet, as well as interested medical persons, coaches or people who want to enrich their knowledge.
This year's edition attracted nearly 100 participants. In front of all of them, the executive director of Ludogorets, Angel Petrichev, gave a greeting at the opening of the conference.
The useful event drew attention to topics from the fields of applied sports medicine and the consequences of the COVID pandemic and its impact on the sports medicine. The presentations, interesting and accessible to the public, were prepared and presented by representatives of Ruse University Angel Kanchev, medical higher education institutions in Sofia and in Varna, medical institutions in Ruse and Varna, as well as by members of the Ludogorets staff. For example, in addition to leading the meeting, the head doctor of the Academy Dr. Ivaylo Yakimov spoke about genetics and football, citing a clinical case from practice. The kinesitherapist of Ludogorets, Mirsat Salim, paid attention to the alternatives in the interpretation of Lower Cross Syndrome. And sports psychologist Boryana Razsolkova turned the pages of mental training as part of the preparation of elite athletes and teams.
All participants had the opportunity to absorb the long-term experience of the specialists, and also to examine the internal conditions of the Huvepharma Arena stadium, including a visit to the dressing room. The authentic atmosphere was supplemented with final preparations before the friendly meeting of the Razgrad team with the Romanian Steaua. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the medical conference offered emotional experiences with the favorite team, sealed through photos in the dressing rooms, in the mixing area and of course, with the beloved mascot of the club - the eagle Fortuna.
The participants highly rated the overall conduct of the medical forum, the selected topics for consideration and the accompanying events of the program.
