“I know that Dimitrov is a former Ludogorets coach and knows the team. I cannot hide the players’ qualities and I cannot use twenty new players either. We analyzed everything and we are ready for this match. I think that the next two matches are important and our competitors deserve their overall positions. I admire Beroe’s tactics but they did not show great results recently. We, on the other hand, are prepared in detail to stand against them. We are always looking for improvement and we had a couple of tough matches recently. There were a lot of factors for us having a hard time. The most important match in Bulgaria today is between CSKA and Ludogorets, with all my respect for the rest of the teams. We put in a lot of effort and emotion in this match. We learned from our moments of weakness. In the upcoming match, we will be more motivated to win. I want us to play as we did in the first parts of the last two matches. Beroe is a serious team and we need to be ready. There is nobody who can stop us from winning the title if we play right”, said the coach Dambrauskas.
“It is not easy to replace Nedyalkov. He is important because he has a strong presence and I am not happy to lose him for a month but he will be okay. I wish him a quick recovery. I think we will be able to compensate for losing him against Beroe and the first 15 minutes will be tough. We can now use a 3-4-3 or a 3-5-2 formation. We changed the tactic in the past matches. As far as the CSKA-Lokomotiv match, this is not a concern of mine. They will play quality football. We played against Lokomotiv and they are surely one of the elite Bulgarian teams. I like their style and they are Bulgarian Cup winner for a reason but it is a new season now”, the coach continued.
The coach commented on the injured Marin and Stoyanov: “I expect them to return but I cannot tell when this will happen. It is too early. They work together with our medical staff and their state varies but we all hope they will be better soon”.
