The Madagascar president honored Anicet with an order of chivalry

Andry Rajoelina, the president of Madagascar, honored Abel Anicet and two other national team players the highest possible order of chivalry for adding value to the country’s name.

Andry Rajoelina, the president of Madagascar, honored Abel Anicet and two other national team players the highest possible order of chivalry for adding value to the country’s name. The event took place in the capital city of Antananarivo. Anicet was recently appointed as captain of the national football team. He and his two teammates received their honors because of the great performance the team has shown during the African Nations Championship in Egypt. The team only debuted but reached quarterfinals, where Tunis stopped their winning spree. Most players received their orders after the championship, but Anicet had to delay this due to his obligations with Ludogorets.

‘This makes me feel really proud and means a lot to me’, Anicet said. He will lead the Madagascar team against Ethiopia this Saturday.
