Ludogorets made a third incoming transfer. The 13-time champions have brought in Sweden international Edvin Kurtulus, who plays at centre-back. The Eagles' management successfully completed negotiations with Hammarby on Friday. In the meantime, the defender underwent medicals and fitness tests. He will join Ludogorets at the camp in the Austrian town of Bad Haring and he will be officially presented by sports director Georgi Karamandzukov.

Edvin Kurtulus has long been watched by Ludogorets' scouting team, but his transfer has now become possible. In Sweden, the 24-year-old defender played for Halmstad before being signed by Hammarby. For the Stockholm club, over two and a half seasons, Kurtulus made 66 appearances and scored three goals. Edvin is currently a Swedish international, having already played 4 official matches. There are also 21 matches for the Kosovo youth national team.

"It's an honor for me to come to such an ambitious club as Ludogorets, which always has high goals. I can't wait to get involved in training and matches," said Kurtulus on leaving for Austria.

The transfer of the Swedish international is the third such transfer for Ludogorets since the beginning of summer training. Before him, the thirteen-time champions attracted the German goalkeeper Hendrik Bonmann and the Cape Verde international Deroy Duarte, who will also be officially presented as a Ludogorets player tomorrow.
