Ivaylo Chochev: I am coming to become a champion

PFC Ludogorets officially presented the new addition Ivaylo Chochev. He received the number 18 jersey from technical director Cosmin Moti.

"I feel good. I think it was two and a half years ago that we got in touch. Even then I wanted to come, but Ludogorets could not come to an agreement with my previous club CSKA 1948, but I had given my consent even then. I am coming here to become a champion, to win the Cup and to play in European tournaments", said Chochev. "Yes, of course it will be difficult. For every footballer it's nice and he dreams to play in European tournaments, but it's good that the team has a lot of games in the league, we're fighting for the Cup, so there's a lot of games for everyone and I think I can help in these remaining two the tournament", he added.

After that, the midfielder also talked about number 18, with which he will play for the Razgrad team: "This is my birthday. I've played with this number for almost my entire career and I'm glad to be able to play with it here. A number that I think brings me luck and I perform well with it".

"Chochev is a very good football player, but unfortunately we cannot register him in Europe, but I am sure that he will help in the other matches. 99% of the time, no football player will leave Ludogorets," said Cosmin Moti.
