Ludogorets attracted another new player. This is the winger Caio Vidal, who last played on loan in the elite Brazilian club Bahia. The 11-time champions have successfully finalized negotiations with Internazionale for the midfielder and he is now in Bulgaria. It was the giant from Porto Alegre who held Vidal's rights. The winger underwent medical examinations and fitness tests in Sofia and today he arrived in Razgrad, where he was introduced as a Ludogorets player by sports director Georgi Karamandzukov.

Caio Vidal is 22 years old and has so far played for Internazionale and Bahia, who recently bought Cicinho and Cauly Oliveira. Vidal has played 61 games, scoring 5 goals with the Porto Alegre club. There are 11 games for Bahia.

"I wish success to Caio Vidal. Attracting him was not easy, all parties made compromises. I thank the clubs and managers, as well as the football player himself, for the successful transaction completion," said Ludogorets sports director Georgi Karamandzukov.

"My dream was to play in Europe in a big club. Here I am making it happen," commented Caio Vidal.

He is the fifth new player recruited for the spring division of the championship after the Portuguese Dinis Almeida, the Argentine Franco Russo, the Spaniard Gonzalo Avila Pipa and the Brazilian Rai.
