Position of PFC Ludogorets

PFC Ludogorets is surprised by the verbal exchange surrounding the draw for the semifinal pairs of the Sesame Cup of Bulgaria. After three of the semifinal participants have already expressed their positions, we find it necessary to do the same. In recent seasons, the draw for the semifinals has taken place immediately after the last quarterfinal match in the Diema Sport studio.

We have always accepted the draw in the tournaments we participate in and have shown respect to our opponents, regardless of the results on the field. We are astonished by the sharp change in opinion and position of those involved in the semifinals, especially since last night representatives of Ludogorets, CSKA, and Botev (Vratsa) expressed no doubts about the legitimacy of the draw and respectfully commented on their opponents.

Regarding the requested resignation of The National Team coach and the expressed positions against the dual roles of Ilian Iliev, we are firm that it is high time for the specialist to make his choice—whether to remain at the helm of The National Team or to continue leading Cherno More. The combination of these two positions presents a serious conflict of interest, affecting many parties.
