Champions' celebration for Ludogorets Academy in Razgrad

Today in Razgrad, the official award ceremony for the champion teams of the Ludogorets Academy took place.

The teams of Ludogorets U13, Ludogorets U15, Ludogorets U16, and Ludogorets U17 received their championship trophies after an extremely successful season. The young "Eagles" brought fame to the club, triumphing in the elite national championships of the BFS and in the Regional Championship - Varna zone for the 2025/26 season.

Ludogorets U13 finished first in the Varna zone, even though they competed against opponents a year older. The team also took part in the prestigious international tournament "Panayotis Katsouris" in Thessaloniki, where they finished fifth, leaving behind renowned clubs such as Feyenoord, Partizan, Malmö, Bochum, Oxford, Porto, Benfica, and others.

A historic achievement was also recorded by the players born in 2009, who won Bulgaria's championship title for the third consecutive year.

During the ceremony, the traditional annual individual awards of PFC Ludogorets were handed out. Alex Panayotov was distinguished as the best goalkeeper, Timur Mustafa as the best defender, and Daniel Todorov was chosen as the best midfielder. The award for best forward was won by Georgi Slavchov.

Yoan Yordanov, Ahmed Yakub, and Yastian Georgiev were awarded as the top scorers for the U15, U16, and U17 age groups, respectively.

The award for the most valuable player was given to Daniel Rangelov, while Maxim Daskalov was named the most promising footballer.

Among the official guests at the event were the director of "Youth Development" at BFS Lachezar Dimov, the president of PFC Ludogorets Alexander Alexandrov, the CEO of PFC Ludogorets Angel Petrichev, technical director Cosmin Moți, and the chairman of the Regional BFS Council in Razgrad Dincher Kırov.

During the ceremony, the director of the Ludogorets Academy Radoslav Komitov expressed gratitude to the entire club management, and the CEO of PFC Ludogorets Angel Petrichev addressed their parents:

"Dear parents, I turn first to you, because you are the reason we have so many champions - you have raised these wonderful children! From the bottom of my heart, I and all the members of the management hope that these boys will defend not only the colors of Ludogorets, but also those of Bulgaria. With their help, we will have a strong Bulgarian national team and a strong Ludogorets. The boys show that things are being done right here and with love. I can promise you that we will continue to look at your children as our own."

Petrichev wished health and many future successes to the young talents.

"I wish these medals to be the beginning of a very big collection, which you are just starting to prepare in your career," he added.

The Ludogorets Sports Center, where the ceremony was held, was filled with proud parents, relatives, supporters, and friends of the club, who became part of the young footballers' celebration and congratulated them for their impressive achievements.

The Ludogorets Academy gave special thanks to the owners Kiril and Georgi Domuschiev, Temenuzhka Gazdova, Alexander Alexandrov, Angel Petrichev, Georgi Karamandzhukov, and all the Academy staff who contribute daily to the development and success of the young "Eagles".

Undoubtedly, another championship season has reinforced the position of the Ludogorets Academy as a leading school for the development of young footballers in Bulgaria.
