The champions of Bulgaria ended their participation in Europe

The women’s team of Ludogorets lost 0:2 to Mitrovica in a match from the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, played in Pristina.

The Bulgarian champions conceded one goal in each half, thus ending their participation in this year’s edition of the European club tournament.

"This was an invaluable experience for us. The team gave everything it had, for which I can only congratulate the girls," said head coach Christos Dokov.

With their participation in the Champions League, the "eaglets" gained valuable international experience, which will serve as an important foundation for their future development. The team is now focusing entirely on the upcoming season in the Bulgarian championship, where they will strive to defend their champion title and build upon their achieved successes.
