Ludogorets beat Dunav 2:0 in Ruse

Ludogorets recorded their second win in the First League championship. The "Eagles" defeated Dunav (Ruse) 2:0 as guests. Bernard Tekpetey opened the score in the 14th minute with a fine header that caught the home goalkeeper Kitanov unprepared. Rwan Cruz doubled the lead in the 47th minute.

Ludogorets had complete dominance throughout the match and especially in the second half, they missed several opportunities to score a third goal. The closest to scoring were Son, Kamara, Chochev, and Kwadwo Duah.

On Thursday, the fourteen-time champions host Apoel (Tel Aviv) in the return leg of the second qualifying round of the Conference League. Ludogorets' next league match is at home against Botev (Vratsa).
