Ludogorets signs Brazilian youth international

PFC Ludogorets has reached an agreement with the Brazilian giant Botafogo for the acquisition of Brazil’s youth international Nathan Fernandez. After successful negotiations between the two clubs, the speedy winger will play for the "Eagles" on loan, with an option in the contract for a permanent transfer.

The 21-year-old Nathan is arriving in Razgrad with impressive experience despite his young age. Between 2022 and 2025, he recorded 61 official matches with Gremio, and after his transfer to Botafogo for a substantial sum in 2025, he played another 29 games for the club. He scored 5 goals.

Nathan is currently training with Ludogorets, as the club works on finalizing the paperwork for the player’s registration. 

In 2025, Nathan made his debut for Brazil’s U21 national team. So far, he has 5 appearances for the national side, with Bournemouth star Ryan being his substitute in the selection.

"I know what kind of team Ludogorets is and what goals it pursues. We must reclaim the title and perform strongly in European club competitions," commented Nathan after finalizing his transfer.

The Brazilian is Ludogorets’s third new signing this summer following the arrivals of Mikhail Polendakov and Hosam Abdelmagid.
