Historic double! Ludogorets thrashes NSA and triumphs with the Bulgarian Cup

The Ludogorets women’s team crushed NSA 4-0 in the Bulgarian Cup final and finished the season with a historic double.

After securing the championship title earlier in the season, the "Eagles" also triumphed in the national cup with a decisive win in the final match, which was played in Sevlievo.

The first half ended goalless, but after the break Ludogorets’ players asserted full dominance. In the very first minute of the second half, Monika Borislavova opened the scoring, and shortly after, Mariela Petrova doubled the advantage for the Razgrad team. Silvia Kefalova scored the third goal, and Veronika Gotseva sealed the final 4-0.

“It was a long season. I am glad we finished it unbeaten and won both trophies. I congratulate the team for their hard work throughout the year. Now we are going on a well-deserved break, after which we will start our preparations for the Champions League and the upcoming season. I would like to thank the owners, the club management, the coaching and medical staff, as well as everyone who contributed to this success,” said head coach Christos Dokov.
