Igor Plastun: I returned to a club that has given me a lot

Igor Plastun answered a few questions after Cosmin Moti introduced the new player:

- Igor, how does it feel to be back?
- It feels great. I returned to a club that has given me a lot in the past. I am happy to be here again. I know many of the players and the other ones gave me a warm welcome. I like the fact that Moti became the club’s technical director. He is a great player.

- Did you follow the club’s performance these last few years?
- I never stopped doing this. I followed every match and I must congratulate the team on the tenth title. This is a historic moment but there is more to come.

- Ludogorets once qualified for the Champions League group phase. Is this possible again?
- I hope that this happens but it is hard for me to be certain right now. I hope we will continue with a lot of success. Ludogorets has the experience needed.

- The draw for the first two rounds is near. What do you prefer in terms of opponents?
- I cannot say it matters to me. There are serious competitors but Ludogorets has all the chances to win.

- Do you know any of the newer Ludogorets players?
- I don’t know them personally but I’ve played against Verdon before.

- What can you say about your time at Gent?
- I think it was excellent, Gent is a serious club and we achieved a lot. We played in Europa League twice. I will remain a friend with the club and I wish them success!
