Ludogorets FC Logo

Ludogorets is now one of the three teams in the world that has a live mascot. Similar to Lazio and Benfica, the champions recently acquired an amazing female eagle.

The fans of Ludogorets named the club’s new mascot—the beautiful eagle—Fortuna. The name of the ancient Greek goddess of luck and fortune received 4,446 votes in a poll on the official website of the champions. The name Gloria came in second with 3,076 votes.

Fortuna brought European triumph to Ludogorets

The idea for Ludogorets to acquire an eagle was born during the official meeting between the owners of Lazio and the Bulgarian team—Claudio Lotito and Kiril Domuschiev. The Roman team helped Ludogorets receive the eagle, which made its debut flight on Bulgarian soil minutes before the match against Valencia at "Vasil Levski" Stadium.

After making its debut flight before the first Round of 16 match in the Europa League tournament against Valencia in Sofia, Ludogorets’ live mascot, gifted by Lazio, also flew above the stadium in Razgrad. This will happen immediately before every match in our football championship.

In addition to flying before each home match at "Huvepharma Arena," the eagle will participate in charity events organized by the club.
